Shifting home? Photograph every box as you pack it.
Each carton gets a photo of what went in and a QR label. At the new house, scan the label to see inside without cutting the tape — and know which room every box went to.
Box 14 — packed in the kitchen on Saturday, with the mixer jars and the steel tiffin.
Every shifting, the same three worries.
Fifty cartons, one truck, and a family asking where everything is.
“Is everything on the truck?”
The packers say forty-two cartons. You counted forty. Nobody wrote down what was in the two.
“Which box is the cooker in?”
First night at the new flat, ten cartons say KITCHEN in marker. You open all ten.
“They broke the TV.”
The movers say it was like that. You have no photo of it before it was packed.
Pack once. Know for the whole move.
A few seconds per box, even on the busiest packing day.
Start the move
In Moves, start one — “Andheri flat → Powai flat” — and print QR labels for your boxes.
Photograph as you pack
Open the carton, take a photo. The AI lists what it sees: pressure cooker, mixer jars, tiffin. Tick it or carry on.
Seal and label
Tape it, stick the label, and note which room it should go to. Take a condition photo of anything fragile.
Unpack room by room
At the new house, scan a label to see what’s inside. Put a whole box into a room in one tap.
What you get for the shifting
From the first carton to the last one unpacked.
A photo list per box
Every carton with photos of what went in, and a list the AI read from them.
QR labels
Print labels; scan one to see inside with the box still taped shut.

Picture a 2BHK shifting from Andheri to Powai
Two evenings of packing, three people, forty-odd cartons. Each one is photographed open before it is taped, and gets a QR label and a room: Kitchen, Kids’ room, Puja.
The truck arrives late. The first night, “which box has the bedsheets?” — Box 22, with the photo. The next morning, the cartons go into rooms with one tap each, and the condition photos of the TV are already there if anyone asks.

Questions people ask
How do I keep track of boxes when shifting house?
With WhatsWhere, photograph each carton as you pack it. The AI lists what is inside, each box gets a QR label, and you can see how many boxes are packed, sealed, arrived and unpacked. Later you can ask “which box has the pressure cooker?” and see the photo.
How do QR labels on moving boxes work?
Print a QR label for each box from the app and stick it on the carton. Scanning it with a phone shows what is inside — the photos and the list — and opens that box in the app to unpack it.
Can I see what’s in a box without opening it?
Yes. Scan its QR label or search for it in the app. You see the photos taken while it was packed and the list of things in it.
How do I know which box went to which room?
When you unpack, you put a box into a room in one tap, or send a few things to another room. The “where everything went” report lists every item, the box it came in and the room it is in now.
Can my packers and movers use it with me?
Yes. Invite them with a link. You choose whether each person can record things or only look.
What if something arrives broken?
Take condition photos before a box is sealed and again when it arrives. The app keeps them side by side and prints a damage report you can show the mover or the insurer.
Does it work in a basement or lift lobby with no signal?
Yes. Photos are kept on your phone and upload by themselves when you are back online.
Can my family see the list from another city?
Yes. Share one invite link. Everyone sees the same boxes and lists, and can ask where anything is.
