Terms of use

In short

Your photos and records are yours. Use WhatsWhere lawfully. The AI is helpful but can be wrong — check what matters. The service is provided as it is, and we will tell you before changing these terms.

Using WhatsWhere

By signing in you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. You need a Google account. You are responsible for activity in your account and in Spaces you own, including who you invite.

Your content

You own the photos and records you add. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to run the service for you and the people you invite — including sending photos to Google’s Gemini AI to read them. We claim no other rights over your content.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t use WhatsWhere to store unlawful content, or photos of people without their consent where consent is required.
  • Don’t try to access other people’s Spaces, overload the service, or reverse-engineer it.
  • Don’t use it to record anything you have no right to record.

AI and accuracy

Lists the AI reads from photos are suggestions, marked as “not confirmed” until a person confirms them. They can miss things or name them wrongly. WhatsWhere is a record-keeping aid, not proof that any item exists, is undamaged, or is where it was last recorded. For insurance, transport or legal claims, check that the photos and records say what you need.

Availability

We work to keep WhatsWhere available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Your master copy lives in your Google Drive; keep it there.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, WhatsWhere is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost, damaged or misplaced items, arising from use of the service.

Ending use

You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the privacy policy). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes and law

We will post changes here and tell Space owners in the app before significant changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: contact@whatswhere.ai.
